APPLICATION CHECKLIST

Applying to the MBA + program at Portland State University is a two-step process which involves applying to both Portland State University’s Office of Admissions and Records and the Graduate Business Programs Office.


STEP 1:

Submit the following to:

  1. PSU Graduate Application form

  2. $50 USD non-refundable Application Fee

  3. One (1) official transcript from each college or university attended.

International Students ONLY

  1. Official TOEFL or IELTS Scores

  2. Immigration Fact Sheet

  3. Evidence of Financial Resources
    – Statement of Financial Support
    – Declaration of Finances

  4. Certified English Translation of Transcripts and Diplomas


STEP 2:

Submit the following to:

  1. Complete the online MBA + application. Click here for online application.
    a. Upload current resume.
    b. Answer two short essay questions.

  2. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation

  3. One (1) official transcript from each college or university attended.

  4. Official GMAT score report sent from the Educational Testing Service to the Portland State University.

  5. A petition for any extraordinary circumstances that might influence consideration of the applicant.

Requirements for getting into the MBA + Program:

  • The equivalent of a US four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of either 2.75 or higher in undergraduate transcripts or 3.0 or higher in 9 or more graduate credits from an accredited university.

  • Official GMAT score sent directly from the Educational Testing Services to the SBA. Scores should indicate a strong aptitude for business studies.

  • Resume illustrating a solid two years of work experience.
