ELECTIVES

In the MBA + program, 16 of your 72 credit hours are electives. Some students choose to pursue a Concentration with these elective credits, and others decide they’d rather spread their electives over a wider variety of topics. Choosing a concentration is not required of students in the program, however many find they are more adequately able to fulfill their professional interests and goals by selecting specific elective courses.

If you are interested in a Concentration, please visit the Concentrations page to learn more about your options and the required courses for each. Please be advised that you’ll need to start planning your electives during the first year of your program if you plan to pursue a concentration because not every class is offered every term.

If you prefer to customize your elective choices to your interests and schedule, this page outlines the elective courses that are available by term. We typically have this schedule two terms in advance, and will update this site regularly.

Elective Course Planner

This information may be used as a tentative guide for planning MBA + elective courses. Elective courses are scheduled for specific terms. Please check the Schedule of Classes on the course schedule page for the most current information.

PLEASE NOTE: "s" indicates a Slash course. A maximum of 8 credits of electives may be "Slash" credits (400/500 level coursework taken for graduate credit)

Many courses listed below have prerequisites. Please check the PSU Bulletin for prerequisites, and check the Schedule of Classes each term for class times.
