MIM SPECIALIZATIONS

In response to the growing corporate demand for specialized skills, the MIM Program offers areas of concentration that take students beyond the core MIM curriculum. Out of the 75 credits required for the MIM program, 12 elective credits fulfill the specialization requirement.

Students can choose from one of four areas:

  1. Global Sustainability teaches students how global corporations manage financial, social, and environmental concerns within and across diverse political and social climates.

  2. Global Marketing specialization addresses the issues and challenges surrounding international marketing strategies. Courses emphasize cross-cultural knowledge and communication as the foundation for effective international marketing campaigns.

  3. Global Supply Chain Management In today’s fast-paced global marketplace, supply chains have become an intricate and challenging web of legal, governmental, and business concerns. This specialization prepares students for careers in this field.

  4. International Corporate Financial Management provides the tools and knowledge to help international organizations achieve their financial goals. Trade finance, the unique challenges of international financial management, and the international monetary system will central to this coursework.

When discussing the primary factor in their decision to hire me, my employers said that the unique academic experience of the MIM specialization distinguished me from other potential candidates.
