MIM PREREQUISITE PROGRAM
If your undergraduate degree was in business administration (or a related field), you probably have met all the prerequisites needed. However, if your undergraduate degree was not in business, you probably will need some or all of the following classes:
- Managerial and Financial Accounting (200 level or higher)
- Micro and Macro Economics (200 level or higher)
- Statistics (200 level or higher)
- Business Finance (300 level or higher)
- Business Writing & Research
If you are missing some or all of these classes, you must complete them by the time you enter the MIM program. You can take these classes on a pass/fail basis during the Pre-MIM program starting summer quarter at PSU, before the MIM Program begins. You can also complete these courses through a local university near you. If you are unsure whether you need any of these classes, please fax your transcripts to (503) 725-2290, so the MIM Admissions Committee can review your records and advise you on what classes are needed.
