How the Master in International Management Program (MIM) Stays Ahead
Aided by PSU’s School of Business Administration (SBA), the MIM program is thankful for both the interactive and financial support it receives from MIM alumni and the business community in achieving and maintaining its momentum as a leader in graduate business education.
The SBA and MIM Program receive support through:
- MIM alumni and business community engagement. Both MIM alumni and the business community give back to the MIM program through such ways as: Student Recruitment,Student/Alumni Mentor Program, Student International Business Projects, Career Placement of MIM Graduates, Volunteer Leadership
- MIM Student Scholarships. The MIM program strives to offer $50,000 in scholarships annually to incoming full-time and part-time students. Make a gift online:
- The MIM International Business Leadership Scholarship. Awarded to applicants with outstanding leadership background, professional experience and proven potential for achievement in the program.
- MIM Emerging International Scholar Fund. Awarded to applicants with exceptional academic performance, excellent test scores, financial need and proven potential for achievement in the program.
- Financial contributions. Private contributions and grants help fund faculty research, technologies and classroom improvements and greatly enhance the quality of education the SBA is able to provide. Money raised through the SBA's Fund for Excellence go directly to where the need is the greatest. Whether implementing new curriculum or supporting faculty research, gifts to the Fund are critical to the SBA. The Fund for Excellence is the sole source of funding for creating new, innovative projects that extend the quality education found at the SBA.

A New Home for the PSU School of Business
Momentum continues to grow for breaking ground on a new SBA building by 2010. The SBA recently received its first $1 million pledge toward the goal of raising $20 million to be matched by state bonding, yielding a $40 million project of approximately 100,000 square feet. The SBA has secured a location at southwest Market Street and Park Avenue.
The SBA is committed to building a facility with a design reflecting its growing international stature, creating space for the most productive learning, research, and community involvement possible, and promoting its ability to attract the best students and faculty.
