MIM INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS RESEARCH PROJECTS
Our business research projects give students the chance to apply their MIM skills to real life business issues. Students work in small teams to take advantage of the varied expertise of MIM classroom peers and commit 600 hours to complete this “real world” international business project. Students often pursue projects with current or prospective employers.
Student projects vary based on the client’s needs, but all enhance practical expertise. Some project groups prepare recommendations for local companies with international business concerns. Other students travel to abroad to conduct market research.

“I was able to arrange for Hewlett-Packard to sponsor a project. The VP of the HP Emerging Markets Group selected me to lead a team to conduct secondary and primary market research and analysis for the introduction of a new product/service into China. There were three other MIM students working on the project team, one of which was a fellow HP employee. Our research targeted seven major cities, which our five-month project schedule divided up between two trips. It turned out to be one of the best projects in my career with HP.”
