MIM Corporate Support

The School of Business Administration (SBA)’s Corporate Partners contribute to the financial stability of graduate programming and provide important funding for new initiatives, scholarships and faculty research. Last year 12% of the SBA’s budget came from private contributions and grants. These gifts support graduate scholarships, faculty research, technologies and classroom improvements, all of which enhance the SBA's quality of education.

Corporate Partners each contribute at least $2,500 or more annually to selected funds from within the SBA. In particular, the MIM program benefits greatly from the SBA’s Fund for Excellence. The Fund for Excellence is the annual giving program of the PSU School of Business and is comprised of annual contributions made by alumni, companies and friends of the School of Business. This fund provides the dean with the ability to enhance academic programs that make the crucial difference between an adequate education and a truly first-rate education.

For more information on supporting the Fund for Excellence and becoming a Corporate Partner, please contact SBA’s Program Development Officer and Director of External Relations, Kristin Mihalko at (503) 725-3766.

A New Home for the PSU School of Business

Momentum continues to grow for breaking ground on a new SBA building by 2010. The SBA recently received its first $1 million pledge toward the goal of raising $20 million to be matched by state bonding, yielding a $40 million project of approximately 100,000 square feet. The SBA has secured a location at southwest Market Street and Park Avenue.

The SBA is committed to building a facility with a design reflecting its growing international stature, creating space for the most productive learning, research, and community involvement possible, and promoting its ability to attract the best students and faculty.
