MSFA CURRICULUM

Students are admitted into the MSFA during fall quarter only. Each cohort that begins the program (each year, we admit a full-time and a part-time cohort) takes all of their core classes together throughout the duration of the program. All students are encouraged to follow this cohort schedule of classes, which enhances their learning experience by forging relationships with other students in each cohort. Students that cannot follow the cohort structure will need to meet with their advisor to devise a schedule to meet all prerequisite and graduation requirements.
A total of 49 quarter-credit hours are required to complete the Master of Science in Financial Analysis (MSFA) degree. The program is divided into three key areas:
- 11 credits of business
- 30 credits of financial analysis core courses
- 8 credits of financial analysis electives.
