WHY RECRUIT OUR STUDENTS
The School of Business Administration at PSU prides itself on the high caliber of its students. According to admissions statistics, the Graduate Business Programs at PSU are the most selective in the Portland metro area. As an example, our incoming MBA+ class profile was as follows:
- Average of 5 years work experience
- Average GMAT score of over 620
- Average undergraduate GPA of over 3.2
Beyond the statistics, however, our Admissions Committee weighs heavily the maturity, self-awareness and drive of our applicants. We strive to include in our programs those students who display, through their personal statements and interviews, a commitment to their communities, organizations and colleagues. Our corporate partners have told us repeatedly that students from our programs are collaborative, hard-working, and display the characteristics associated with strong leadership.
